Our Practice provides care within a defined practice boundary, set in line with NHS guidance to ensure we can deliver safe, timely and equitable services.
Our boundary covers approximately a 10‑mile radius centred on Skegness, including Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards and the surrounding rural and coastal villages across East Lincolnshire.
Practice boundaries help us:
- ensure patients can access home visiting safely when clinically required
- maintain continuity of care across our three sites
- support urgent care response times
- plan services effectively for our rural and coastal population
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
We recognise that some patients may face additional challenges due to disability, vulnerability, homelessness, temporary accommodation or safeguarding needs. In certain circumstances, and where clinically appropriate, we may consider exceptions to our usual boundary rules.
These decisions are made carefully, on a case‑by‑case basis, and always with patient safety at the centre.
Examples of situations where exceptions may be considered include:
- No fixed abode or homelessness
- Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities
- Temporary or emergency accommodation
- Patients fleeing domestic abuse
- Complex health or disability needs
Where an exception cannot be safely supported, we will advise patients on registering with a nearby practice that can meet their needs and ensure continuity of care.
