Patient Confidentiality

All staff at Beacon Medical Practice are bound by a strict confidentiality policy and receive comprehensive Information Governance training before starting work with us.

Every member of our team understands their responsibility to protect your personal information.

All patient records are handled with the highest level of confidentiality, and staff are instructed never to disclose patient information, even to close relatives, without appropriate consent.

To help us maintain privacy within the reception area, we kindly ask patients to stand back from the desk and allow the person in front to speak privately with the receptionist.

Respecting this space helps ensure everyone can discuss their needs confidently and discreetly.

If you would prefer to speak to a receptionist in private, please let us know. We will be happy to arrange a confidential conversation away from the main reception area.
