Why should you have a flu vaccine?
The flu vaccine is recommended for people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu.
Who can get the flu vaccine?
You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:
are aged 65 or over
have certain long-term health conditions
are pregnant
live in a care home
are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
live with someone who has a weakened immune system
When can I get the flu vaccine?
As well as being able to book appointments over Autumn and Early Winter, as we do each year, we are able to offer walk-in vaccinations to eligible patients on the following dates:
Saturday 4th October – Skegness surgery from 08:00 – 13:00
Saturday 11th October – Chapel St Leonards surgery from 08:00 – 13:00
Saturday 18th October – Ingoldmells surgery from 08:00 – 13:00
