NHS BSA has temporarily suspended the need for patient signatures on FP10 prescription forms, and dental and general ophthalmic services forms, effective November 1 until 31 March 2021, as part of a COVID-19 response.
“What does this mean for me?”:
When collecting your prescription items from the surgery or a chemist, you will not be required to sign the reverse of the paper prescription, this will be done on your behalf. However, we do ask that you try and provide us with proof of your exemption where relevant such as Pre-Payment, Medical Exemption etc.
