For minor illnesses or conditions:
Your local pharmacist* can provide expert advice and treatment options for common ailments like colds, sore throats, and upset stomachs. Many also operate under the Pharmacy First scheme.
For urgent, non-life-threatening concerns:
Visit the NHS 111 online service or call 111 free from any phone.
They can offer guidance and direct you to the most suitable local service, such as an Urgent Treatment Centre.
For life-threatening emergencies:
In an emergency, such as severe chest pain, significant injury, or loss of consciousness, always call 999 or go to A&E.
