When a patient misses their appointment, it is referred to as a ‘Did Not Attend’ (DNA)
During April 2024, 276 appointments were missed resulting in 64 hours wasted.
Due to the number of DNAs regularly occurring across the practice, we would like to understand why. For all patients that do not attend an appointment in the month of June, we will be sending out a text survey each day. Understanding the reasons why patients might have missed their appointment provides an opportunity to find a solution to the reason/issues why appointments are being missed. We would appreciate your support with this as it will help to ensure clinical time is used effectively.
